Summer camp is always a lot of fun and it’s a great place to meet new friends. That’s where I met my best friend Tammy! After the first week of camp, when Tammy arrived and I was asked to be her buddy, I was so excited! But when I found out she had Downs’ Syndrome, I was kinda nervous. I never met anybody with Downs’ Syndrome before!

DOWNS’ SYNDROME is a story of friendship. It tells a story about two young kids who become best of friends despite their differences. They learn that everybody is good at something, and by helping each other overcome their fears and difficulties, they can accomplish anything.

DOWNS’ SYNDROME acknowledges the existence of Down Syndrome among children and recognizes the potential and ability for all children to get along, no matter what! This inspiring story is a step in the right direction of eliminating existing barriers between children with Down Syndrome and their peers!
