There are heroes everywhere! They are in our neighborhoods, on the playground and even in our own homes.

They are ordinary people like you and me! And some heroes even have a tail and a wet nose!

So what does it mean to be a hero?

I used to think that all heroes could fly or climb tall buildings or make things disappear, but now I know that not all heroes wear a cape and fly!

Maybe being a hero means being brave and having the courage to do what´s right? Or maybe being a hero means being kind and helping others?
