The child in this story hardly knows what sunlight is like, or water, or the sounds in the village square, because his parents invent explanations to protect him from everything with the most unlikely stories. One day, he discovers that his surroundings are not as dangerous as he has been told, that water is wet and the sun provides heat and he decides to enjoy it all with the freedom of a child.
