The children in the Kandel family live in a world without color. When they see the rainbow on a stormy day, they ask themselves why their world is black and white and they decide to travel the globe in search of color. However, the answer is much closer to them than they imagine.

The story is inspired in Principle 7 of the Rights of the Child, according to which the child has the right to receive an education that provides him with general culture, in order to be able to develop in society with the same opportunities as the rest of the children.
